Allegra-D — Allergies + Nasal Congestion
Overview
Allegra-D is an antihistamine and decongestant combination that is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies such as watery or itchy eyes, runny nose, itchy throat, sneezing, and stuffy nose (nasal congestion).
Active Ingredients
- Fexofenadine 60 mg
- Pseudoephedrine 120 mg
Caution
- Speak to a doctor if you are 65 years of age or older, or if you have kidney disease.
- Avoid taking this medication at the same time as aluminum or magnesium antacids.
- Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 1 week, or if they worsen.
Directions
- Take this medication on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal).
- Take with water.
- Do not take with fruit juices (such as apple, grapefruit, or orange) since they may decrease absorption.
